Shevtron

Job Description:

The UX Lead will own product UX strategy and execution across Shevtron’s suite of products and client projects, leading research, interaction design, prototyping and the design system. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, ML and Customer Success to create usable, accessible, measurable experiences that help customers realize value from solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the UX vision and strategy for one or more product lines or client-facing platforms.

  • Lead end-to-end product design: discovery, user research, journey mapping, wireframes, prototypes, interaction design and handoff to engineering.

  • Build, maintain and evangelize a scalable design system (components, tokens, accessibility guidelines, documentation).

  • Run qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, usability tests, analytics-driven insights) to validate hypotheses and prioritize features.

  • Rapidly prototype UI/UX concepts (low → high fidelity) to accelerate POCs, demos and user testing for sales and product teams.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, ML Engineers and Frontend teams to translate UX into implementable designs and measurable outcomes.

  • Establish and monitor UX success metrics (time-to-task, completion rates, NPS, feature adoption) and iterate based on data.

  • Mentor and grow junior/mid-level designers; provide design critique and set hiring standards where applicable.

  • Ensure accessibility, performance and cross-platform consistency (desktop, responsive web, mobile).

  • Create and maintain design artefacts: user flows, personas, journey maps, UI pattern library, interaction specs and developer-ready assets.

  • Support pre-sales and client workshops with design-led discovery, journey mapping and prototyping when needed.

  • Advocate for user-centred practices across the company — run design reviews, workshops and design sprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product design or UX (including at least 1–2 years in a senior/lead role). Experience with enterprise B2B SaaS or AI/ML products strongly preferred.

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design, end-to-end flows, and measurable impact (include case studies showing process and outcomes).

  • Deep proficiency with modern design & collaboration tools (Figma, FigJam, Miro, prototyping tools). Familiarity with design tokens and component-driven design.

  • Experience building or managing a design system and working closely with frontend engineers on implementation.

  • Solid user research skills — planning and running interviews, usability tests, and turning results into prioritized product decisions.

  • Data-informed: comfortable working with analytics (Mixpanel/Amplitude/GA) and translating metrics into design action.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to present design rationale to execs, product and engineering teams.

  • Basic front-end literacy (HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals) to improve handoffs and feasibility discussions.

  • Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for inclusive experiences.

  • Degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Computer Science, or related field desirable; practical experience and portfolio weigh more.

  • Empathetic leader, mentor and collaborator — able to grow a small design function and influence product direction.

  • Prior experience working with AI or data-rich products is a plus (understanding of model outputs, uncertainty, and explainability UX).
